Treatment will take place in our dedicated laser room at the spa. Your technician will use a small handpiece to deliver each laser pulse. A treatment could take as little as a few minutes to as long as an hour, depending on the treatment area and the condition being treated.

Some guests may feel a slight discomfort with each laser pulse, sometimes described like the snapping of a rubber band on the skin. This discomfort resolves quickly and is minimized by the patented Dynamic Cooling of our laser machine. If you prefer to minimize your discomfort, we sell topical anesthetic that you can apply (at home or in our spacious restrooms) prior to the treatment.

The number of sessions depends on the treatment you require and the condition of your skin. For hair removal, multiple treatments are required because laser pulse removes the hair roots that are in active state. Most people need up to 6 treatments for near-permanent hair removal. However, individual results may vary.

For about six weeks prior to treatment, you should avoid plucking, electrolysis or waxing. On the day of your treatment, skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed of any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics or self-tanning products. Apply sunblock (SPF 30 or above) before your treatment.
Do not expose the treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light prior to or immediately after treatment. If you have a history of herpes simplex virus, a prophylactic antiviral therapy may be prescribed.

You can book your first laser hair removal appt online thru our online booking system or give us a call at the spa number.

No. The online booking system will ask for your card information just to hold the reservation. After you finish the first treatment, our spa associate will ask you whether you want to pay-as-you-go per treatment OR buy a six-pack. You pay accordingly during checkout.

You pay after your treatment. After each treatment, you can  pay-as-you-go per treatment or you can decide to buy a six-pack and use a treatment from the six-pack towards the service that you just received.

If you buy a package, any unused treatments are non-refundable for any reason. No exceptions what so ever.

When you buy a package, the treatments expire in 3 years. Usually you’ll use all six treatments within 6 to 8 months. We believe 3 years is a long enough time to make sure  sure your package is used up. We had a client go thru a pregnancy, so taking a pause in the treatments, and resumed the treatments after delivery and still finished in a year and half.

No. You will be asked to fill our intake forms before your first treatment. The forms and consultation go thru contra-indications. If you have any contraindications, you cannot receive laser hair removal. You will not be charged anything in that situation.

Two things are not included in the price.

One: if you need numbing cream, you can purchase it from outside or from our spa. It is 5% Lidocaine topical numbing cream 1.35oz bottle for $20.

Two: gratuities for your technician. Recommended gratuity is $10 or more per treatment.

You cannot. All treatments in six-pack must be used by the same person.

No you do not need a doctor’s note. However if you feel like it, you can consult with your doctor.

In most situations you won’t consult with our doctor at the spa. Your laser technician will consult with the doctor. The supervising doctor goes thru our client records and files via telemedicine and provides supervision to the laser technician. In very rare situation if it is decided by doctor and technician that you need to be seen by the doctor, an appt will be setup for the same, and it will be informed to you.

Yes, you can walk-in and speak with the laser technician Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 4pm an Wednesday 1pm to 8pm to speak with the technician. Technician will see you in-between appts and answer any questions. No appt is given or required for consultation.

Yes. We do have evening and weekend appointments. Head over to online booking, and select a day and time that works best for you.

Yes you can. There might be redness and some discomfort on the treated area for a day or two, but it should not cause work disruption in most cases.

Small area: 10 to 15 minutes

Medium area: 15 to 30 minutes

Large area: 25 to 40 minutes

XL area: 35 to 60 minutes

Usually treatments are done 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your technician will recommend your next appt day after your first treatment.

Yes. You’ll receive links to intake forms by text and email after you setup the appt. Intake forms will determine and document your skin type, indications and any contra-indications. Your technicial will review the information in intake forms to customize your treatment.
